Jigen no Sai
(Manji) 卍の釵
Also pronounced Manji no Sai. The symbol on the left is used to depict
Budist Temples in Japan. Here it indicates the shape of the weapon. It should
never be associated with the symbol depicting the Nazi party.
Key points
Because of the shape of the Sai both ends are used in a similar manner.

Tunfá Kata トゥンファー
Yara Guwa no Tunfá 屋良小のトゥンファー
The Kata has an interesting movement where the Ushiro tsukagashira – or the butt
end of the Tunfá is gripped and a strike is made with the Tsukagashira – or the
round top of the grip
Key points
- This is the second Tunfá Kata in the system.
- There are similar techniques between this Tunfá Kata
and Kama Kata and can prepare a student for this more advanced weapon.
